About TameTV

TameTV is parental-control software for Android TV and Google TV, and it is still in development. The site describes what TameTV will do. Features, supported TVs, prices and launch dates may change before release.

The waitlist

• The waitlist is free. Joining buys nothing, commits you to nothing, and does not promise access by a particular date.
• To join, you need to be an adult and to use an email address that is yours.
• People who confirm their email on the waitlist will be offered a founder price: 20% off, kept for as long as they stay subscribed. Its full conditions will be published when TameTV launches.
• You can leave at any time with the unsubscribe link in any of our emails.

Prices

Prices on the site are launch pricing in US dollars. They show what we plan to charge and are not an offer to sell. The prices that apply are the ones shown when you subscribe.

Compatibility

A TV marked "Expected" is based on our research, not on a test with a real device. It is our best current understanding, not a promise that TameTV will work on that TV.

Using the site

Please don't misuse the site. That includes trying to break it, overload it or get around its security, signing up other people without their permission, and using automated tools to fill in the waitlist form.

Our content

The TameTV name, logo, text and images on this site belong to TameTV. You are welcome to read our guides, link to them and quote short parts with a link back. Please don't copy whole pages or present them as your own.

Other companies' names

Android TV, Google TV, YouTube, Netflix and the TV brands named on this site are trademarks of their owners. TameTV is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

Links to other sites

We link to other websites for reference. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.

No guarantees

We write our guides with care, but they are general information, and TV software changes often. As far as the law allows, the site is provided as it is, without warranties.

Liability

As far as the law allows, TameTV is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live, or any liability that cannot legally be limited.

When the app launches

The TameTV app and the parent dashboard will come with their own terms, covering subscriptions, the free trial, cancelling and refunds. These terms cover the website and the waitlist only.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change matters to waitlist members, we will email them.
